im getting butterflies in my stomach…=( I have workedddd so hard this whole term just to start falling a lil behind at the end….But…..I am good- no excuses!…ha i have spent so much time this past week catching up…I have the 1st url to my final project finally up and a back up flash site….its not much but for what i have had to do in this past week its alot….i have 17 prints in my intaglio class, 3 oil pantings left to do by this week, project discussion meta material and bending visible light using plasmonics for physics, and the website..=( i need A’s to transfer….pressureeee….just found out after my tumor was removed that i have a ulcer in small intestine and have to get a colinoscapy (sp)…if i didnt have bad luck i would have no luck at all- my life suxs right now ha….but almosttttt done..

Still behind=( Still catching up=( but all in all okay week…Alot of out assignments have been dieing down and we are focusing more and more on our final project and some other basic assignments. I have been putting together so many different sites for my final that I don’t know which to pick. I have been told to move forward with my original but I can’t stop working on the other also…I finally got my hosting site and will be adding my 1st index page to it soon to at least have something for the teacher in my discussion posts…My flash site doesnt count as part of the project so I kinda put that to the side..it seem this final project is taking so much out my weeks it hard to focus on other class’s=( I can to it though and will be ready to link that index page soon=)

OMG IM STILL ALIVE…I have been deathly ill for about a week and a half….I had a temp above 104 for a whole day and was rushed to the hospital…I also had surgery on my neck for a tumor…I am sorry to sound so gross but those two Lil things have put me behind a whole week and more in all my classes=( I am so swamped with work and school assignments I am going crazy…However, I have been pounding redbull to catch up…Alot of new template work was down this week and how to structure certain aspects of out site…All in all was kind of a okay week with a little confusion on our lynda assignments…I should have a updated site to show everyone and maybe a flash version also soon!

So I got a little behind this week because I had surgery on my neck to remove some kind of mass..=( I know it sounds gross but its not uncommon I guess…..However I am getting better and am getting back into the flow of this week =) I have done a little updating to my pages…Edited text size, the title to page 1, and added images to the content page..I have done to much because honestly I am working on 2 projects…I have this one and another I am designing and will decide which is best…ALSO I am currently working in flash to make a interactive page that clients can choose if they want to look at my page in something else besides html…Check Out My Somewhat Final designs…ha

Gettingggg soooo closeee to the end!! =( THIS week we learned alot about slices and exporting…we also worked on revised website..I watched a bunch of videos including Exporting CSS and Images >>, Creating CSS / XHTML Layouts >>, and Quickly Transform Photoshop Layouts >>…Also i have been rethinking my final theme for my final comp design…I really don’t like my layout or the color and have been researching other portfolio designs for what I like and what I don’t then seeing how I can throw my own twist to it=)…Well got alot of other homework to do!! =( till later this week!

week 9 horrrayyyyy
so we had a good amount to do this week. we had a final design document due, final global animation due, quiz 8 & 9, and a bunch of lynda.com pratice!!! we had a lot of lynda.com practice in adobe photoshop.. honestly I had alot of time spent on the actual final project of my web site which is a portfolio about myself.. I can’t wait to do more work in photoshop because I really enjoy it..I have been working with adobe flash alot this week because I am building most of my interactive parts of my site in it..

Week 8 BLOOOOGGG!!
well week 8 was pretty interesting. we worked mostly with dreamweaver and ccs styling with external style sheets. this css was applied to our resume assignment, which was really useful because I really needed to make one anyways. most of this week was also revising our banner and animation. we didn’t have a quiz this week which was very weird…

these were the reading links we did this week- very interesting stuff with some review..all in all this was a very informative week!!!

weekkkkk 7 horrayyyy is over heh…just joking it wasn’t that bad at all, actually kinda fun. I was introduced to a lot of beginning animation using the .gif format. For example basic moving, fading, bouncing, and word play were some of the animations I learned to do. Also learned about some ways of how to pick the right domain name and how to optimize your search engine capabilities for your site!!

week 6
This week we covered alot! We reviewed more about photoshop, css, and fireworks. Also we worked on our resume’s again- which by the way is very nice because I needed to work on anyways! Also I learned a lot more functions on adobe photoshop. Our banner project was also an assignment we worked on- I am not proud of my banner because I just seem to be blank on ideas for a spring time representation.

What a great week!! FINAL PROJECT IDEASSS OHH NOOOESS!! ha im just kidding..I had to pick out a idea for my final project (portfolio for myself) and decide how I want to present myself online. However I learned so much about links, optimizing pictures, finding images to use online, using styles, and I even got to put together my 1st crapppy website kinda hahah bcts-potomac.aacc.edu/cat/cat02/week5/index.html
I also read chapter 3 in our book as well as learned about Image maps, Stock photography, and some CSS overveiw..All together it was a verryyy informative week…I am looking forward to the next couple!!!
